Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well 😊
If you are new here, Saturday Loves is a new series here on The Lovely Road. This is where I will share other writers' Substack newsletters that I recently read and enjoyed and give them a creative "shout-out" as well as sharing what I have been interested in on a personal level outside of Substack.
Some writing news:
The lovely Sophie from Simple and Calm has a great series going on in which she interviews different people weekly on how they are living a more simple and more intentional life. I was lucky enough to be interviewed for her series and you can read all about it below!
Some personal news:
A few months ago, I mentioned that my family and I were planning to move to Pennsylvania. Well, some circumstances changed over the summer and different decisions were made. We are staying in California. We are on a different path than we initially expected but that is okay. God is good and we are making our way 🏵
What I've been listening to:
There was an episode of the Proverbs 31 podcast that I recently listened to that I found interesting. The episode was called "How to Overcome When You Feel Overwhelmed". I am a person that can become easily overwhelmed quite quickly so I appreciated what the women had to say in this discussion.
ICYMI:
I wrote a post this week about aging gracefully and how it is truly a gift to be able to get older in the first place. You can read it about it below.
Now without further ado, onto the Substack loves ❤
