Writing is a gracious thing to start doing seriously after retirement. A famous storyteller, Ashley Ramsdan, said in a workshop several years ago that the best storytellers are old. It's after one has lived for a few decades that they begin to understand and have perspective on their lives, the events, and the epiphanies that filled their lives. I'll check the book out, Mackenzie. It does sound really interesting.

Sounds like a fab book! I’m not buying and more books at the moment, but I have been enjoying listening to so many on Spotify! I love that they do audiobooks on there, and I’ve found this one!

I just love how stumbling on a book that turns out to be a true gem feels like a magical alignment meant just for me in that specific moment. 💫

I love it when books call out you Mackenzie, it sounds like this one made its way to you. Such gentle wisdom is within these words and pages. This sometimes happens to me in charity shops when books fly off the shelves or seem to be whispering ‘pick me, pick me! ‘
