I love chips and salsa. I love wearing baseball caps. I love the anticipation of cracking open a new book I've been waiting ages to read. I love the first sip of coffee in the morning. I love films from the 1930's. I love that calm feeling I have after I meditate. I love pizza, the cheesier the better. I love that my cat always sleeps next to me at night. I love the way my daughter says, "I love you Mommy". I love the way the air smells after it rains. I love flowers. I love to eat apple slices with peanut butter. I love a good hug. I love a comfy cardigan. I love laughing until I cry. I love conversations with friends who've known me for decades. I love when I get the answers correct on the quiz show Jeopardy. I love 1940's Christmas music. I love the film Titanic and have watched it an embarrassing number of times (Also, am I dating myself by saying that I saw it at the cinema on opening day?) I love reading a quote and feeling absolutely bowled over by it.
I love being a mom.
I love British mysteries: books, films, televisions shows, etc... I love that my TBR is never-ending. I love all the inside jokes that my husband and I have. I love the first ice cream of the summer.

Also, bonus question for those of you that have watched Titanic as well: do you think Rose could’ve made room for Jack on the board? Inquiring minds would like to know! 😁
Many of your loves are like mine. The most potent for me was how you love it when your cat sleeps next to you in bed. Ah, that's how my old cat started sleeping, purring into my torso, the year before he died. I really miss that. I also loveloveloved Titanic. (Confession: the main character of my novel, Paradise Ridge, started out based on Leo but morphed into a very different person. I do believe Leandro was real somewhere and screaming at me to be true to him.) And yes, Rose could've gotten him on that door but she didn't understand the physics of balance. Alas! Besides, had he lived, it would've devolved into this mundane life ... perhaps.
Peanut butter on apple slices! Who knew? This was such fun to know of your loves Mackenzie. I love Peanut Butter too, with honey on fresh sourdough bread. I'm with you on British mysteries. :)
